I’m Sophie May, a photographer with over a decade of experience working across brand, portraiture and editorial storytelling. My work focuses on redefining how creative brands are visually represented through imagery that is authentic and considered.

A LITTLE BEHIND THE WORK
Photography has been part of my life since my early teens, beginning with film and growing into a career that spans fashion, weddings, brand and portraiture. Along the way, my work has been exhibited across the UK and recognised in Portrait of Britain.
I live in a small village in Leicestershire with my husband, our little boy and our lively mix of pets. Becoming a mother has shaped both my life and work, drawing me towards projects that feel meaningful and connected. From a busy and very full wedding photography career I now find a lot of joy in slow moments cooking, gardening, and being outside.
